CSA Certification of Industrial Paint Booth – Mechanic Workshop
This project was completed at a mechanic workshop in Calgary.
The industrial paint booth machine was imported from China
and was required to obtain CSA certification before receiving
the operational license from the City of Calgary.
1Stop Engineers conducted a detailed inspection of the equipment
according to CSA regulations and industrial safety requirements.
Following successful inspection and compliance verification,
the official CSA Compliance Letter was issued.

is a systematic process to identify, sample,
and document asbestos-containing materials (ACMs)
before renovation, demolition, or property management activities.

Pre-Assessment & Desktop Review

renovation documentation,
hazardous material reports,
building age, and inspection scope details
before conducting onsite evaluations.

On-Site Visual Inspection
Engineers identified friable and non-friable materials,
established homogeneous areas,
documented hazardous materials,
and assessed material condition
to evaluate exposure risks.

Bulk Sampling Protocol
Sampling followed strict regulatory standards using PPE,
HVAC isolation, wet methods,
safe extraction techniques,
labeling procedures,
and contamination prevention methods.

Laboratory Analysis
Samples were transported using Chain of Custody procedures
and analyzed by accredited laboratories
using Polarized Light Microscopy (PLM)
to identify asbestos type and concentration.
